Delete your account or data
Request deletion of your Firebrat account and associated data from RoyFoundry. You do not need to install the app or sign in to this website.
Request account deletion
Send an email to royduck@duck.com with the subject Firebrat account deletion, preferably from the email address used for Firebrat.
This opens your email app; it does not send the request automatically. You can also copy the address and send the email yourself. Never include a password, API key, access token or payment details.
If you use guest mode
Continue as guest creates no Firebrat authentication account to delete. Use the library controls to remove local books, or Android app-storage controls to remove local data and settings. If you previously created an account, signing out or choosing guest does not delete it: use the account request above. You may still request removal of identifiable hosted data through the support address; never send passwords or tokens.
What to include
Identify the account email and whether you want the entire account deleted or only specified data. For RoyFoundry-hosted documents, include the book/job ID or title so we can locate the files. If you no longer control the account email, explain that in the request; additional identity verification may be needed.
What happens next
Requests are processed manually. RoyFoundry verifies that you control the account before removing its Firebase Authentication account and any associated cloud-library metadata that exists. This includes both library metadata and reading-progress documents in Firestore; deleting an Authentication account alone does not remove those records. We confirm completion by email. Until the request is verified and completed, account data may remain stored.
You can request removal of RoyFoundry-hosted uploaded documents and generated packages separately. Server shelves are shared, and jobs do not have private account ownership, so we may need identifiers to locate your files. Books on independently operated servers must be removed by that server’s operator.
What deletion does not remove automatically
- Local books, models, settings and reading progress: delete books in the library or clear Android/browser app data.
- Google Drive backups: remove them in Drive and revoke Firebrat access in your Google account if desired.
- Your Google account: deleting Firebrat does not delete it.
- Aggregated analytics and provider security/service logs: these follow provider/project retention settings and are not automatically erased by deleting a local book.
For a data-only request, email the same address with the subject “Firebrat data deletion” and identify the data. See the privacy policy for all current data flows. The current public request process is manual, not instant self-service deletion.
